A lot of people in our neighborhood have either set up #PollinatorGardens, converted their yards from grass to natives or have scattered pollinator-attractants in their yards. Later in the season, when all of them are in full flower, our vegetable
#gardens and ornamentals are usually swarming with all manner of native and domesticated pollinators.
We also have a few people keeping #honeybee hives in their yards, so, lots of honeybees visit our yard, too.
Overall, it's a really good, busy mix. Only down-side is that #wasps are part of that mix and my wife is deathly allergic to them. In addition to keeping her
#EpiPens up-to-date, we had my mom knit us a couple fake hornet's nests for the front and back porches. They seem to do a decent job of encouraging the paper-wasps to nest elsewhere. The carpenter bees don't seem to pay them any mind, though.
