The new freebsd.org is live.

The updated FreeBSD website delivers a cleaner design, improved navigation, and a stronger foundation for the Project’s future.

The new site makes it easier to:
• Get started with FreeBSD
• Access documentation and downloads
• Explore core technologies like ZFS, bhyve, and Jails
• Connect with the FreeBSD community

Congratulations to everyone who contributed to making this happen.

Yeah, the comments confirm what has been already said, that is, website looks "meh" but because it's more "modern", because it's new, people favour it over the older one. The point is that it could have been refreshed by fixing the pain points without killing whole vibe.

@pj which comments, where?
in the link you posted and following all other links re: website redesign

@grahamperrin

@pj I'm not convinced.

Which of these comments in Reddit supports your analysis?

I don't need to read everything ever written just like I don't have to explain myself to you (but yes, I'm very quick when reading stuff and there wasn't much to read when skipping quoted posts).
I've stated my opinion about the website and I have no interest in wasting my time by posting proofs in some fedi argument.

FreeBSD website redesign...

Any thoughts on the FreeBSD website redesign?

@pj you're recommending a link that's already on the fourth line of the opening post in Reddit (see my previous post).

I added the link three days ago, I have revisited the topic more than once.
