OccasionalDucksToday’s morning walk meant I got to spot a roosting barn owl. Wouldn’t have seen that if I were sat in a metal box on wheels - another reason to much prefer an active #FakeCommute to an actual commute in the car.
Also an appropriate morning for the sighting as last night I began reading the international best seller (it says so on the cover) “What an owl knows” by Jennifer Ackerman - which so far is entertaining and interesting, if rather… breathless in tone at times.
