Paltry, and lost trust is repaired by paltry pablum.

Dont buy Smart TVs, buy bug dumb display terminals that businesses uses, use a trusted device to feed it.

@kevinrns @ra6bit the problem is, "display terminals" cost loads more, with fewer features.

I wanted a 65" illyama because it wasn't "smart". It was over £3000 at the time, and was out of stock in most places.

In the end I had to get a "smart" Sony one, which was £1900, even though it had more functions.

Its more work, maybe form a buyers group. Once known, people dont want a surveiling TV - so numbers could grow quickly.

And searching is rewarded.
