@nathanlovestrees I heard a distant thrush today, but so distantly and briefly I couldn't tell if hermit, wood, or veery. Hopefully I'll get to hear a wood thrush properly soon. :)

@idzie my favorites! I have a very vivid memory from my time living/working in a national forest in West Virginia, I was walking in the wilderness and it was completely silent except for a singular veery
