We have a #diphtheria outbreak in Australia.

According to the Australian Centre for Disease Control (AuCDC - yes, we have one of those now):

Diphtheria is a serious bacterial infection. It most often spreads through respiratory droplets, or direct contact with the wound.

If only there were some way of stopping spread through respiratory droplets.

If only.
