many years ago, i listened to this album a lot, and i could easily say it was one of my favourites of all time. it was so lush and optimistic, it would cheer me up any time i'd put it on, and the production was better than anything i'd ever heard
i haven't actually sat down to rate and review this until now, but id still count it among my favourites despite it being lower rated than other albums ive reviewed here. its incredible and deserves all the praise it gets and even more. its just beautiful, a lot of the songs are catchy.
my favourite song on this is mother, but im sure it wasnt a couple years ago. cant remember what my favourite would have been back then... mother is just beautiful, so grand-sounding and memorable and it just feels like a hug. its perfect.
overall, its an incredible album and i still love it, and maybe ill love it forever. <3
