@brettm tbh im pretty sure he's actually right that this won't transition him, it's the same logic as some trans women using topical testosterone cream so they don't get ED + go infertile, but it doesn't masculinise the rest of their bodies

@[email protected] but there is no barrier to stop the hormones, i think only reason is the dose too small not 'doesn't get absorbed past the skin'? (idk i am no expert)

@MossGrowsOnNormanRuins @brettm What I've read on the subject very strongly suggests it goes pretty much everywhere in the body even if you only use a cream applied locally. For trans women it's likely the side effects are minimal if even present because they already had some of the physiological changes induced by testosterone, thus the low doses wouldn't have much to change in the body, though for the guy with the estradiol cream he *will* grow breasts from that.
