Dunno if I will make these, but the price was right (50% off). Pajama pants maybe? Oversized shirt? Lol #sewing
@ai6yr
I wish I kept all of my Vogue patterns from back in the day. They were my favorites.
@NorcalGma2 I still have no idea which ones work better or worse, though there was that one that skipped all the steps everyone except me knew how to do, lol... that was painful.
@ai6yr
When I sewed all of our clothes I used Vogue for things like suits and coats. Anything lined.
The patterns were very precise but even in the 1970's they were expensive.
I worked out a deal with a store to fabricate all of their garments for display. Mostly hanging from the ceiling of their store.
I got to keep the clothes after they hung for two months and they gave me store credit as well as six free patterns a month of my choosing.
Almost everything they asked me to make involved a detailed Vogue pattern.
It was a great deal for me at the time.
@NorcalGma2 Wow! That's quite a great deal, but I bet they were quite happy on having you available to show their display garments!
@NorcalGma2 @ai6yr Vogue patterns are no joke. Loved the outcome, but they took work for sure!
