A mystery #thriller #film with Edgar Allan Poe as a character? Count me in. Or so I thought. But I cannot really recommend “Raven’s Hollow”. Except for some rather random hints at Poe’s works, it kind of doesn’t matter that he is a character in this story.

It seems the film maker couldn’t really decide if this film is a crime mystery, a supernatural thriller or a gothic horror tale, and most of the minor characters appear like they are just extras. I would rather recommend the thriller “The Raven” with John Cusack
as Edgar Allan Poe.
