@superball @CoolerPseudonym and keep an eye on #grapheneos too. Technical know-how required, looks promising. I'm waiting for one of these options to be a viable alternative
@msb @superball @CoolerPseudonym Using GrapheneOS requires no technical skills, and it is currently the easiest-to-install and easiest-to-use alternative mobile OS.
In fact, GrapheneOS is easier to use than the stock OS, and is much more easier to use than the many AOSP-based versions from OEMs such as OneUI, HarmonyOS etc; because GrapheneOS will never do anything you haven’t decided yourself; there aren't any weird things, and it’s much more cleaner overall, allowing you to customize it however you like. Perhaps the only skill required is knowing how to press a few buttons to install Sandboxed Google Play from the App Store, or Accrescent; Obtainium is also an option.
