They’re sleeping in a little row. ðŸ˜
She is taking a break. :3
TFW you are 4 days old and you don’t even know what news is
Day 6: Kittens still impossibly Baby
Today’s Baby Kitten Pile. As of today, these little catbeans have been in the world for one week.
We have an eye!
We’ve got a cavalcade of eyes today!
Me whenever I’m hanging out in the kitten room

Just a box of fat, happy babies having a milk nap. Finally got their bedding changed out, and I may have to scrounge up a bigger box soon. I’ve borrowed a pop-up playpen for when they’re big enough to learn about the litter box but too small to have free access to the whole room. Hopefully their mama will be okay with that!
We’re hitting a pretty important developmental milestone as the kittens start lifting their heads, squirming around the nesting box, and showing increasing awareness of their surroundings! Everyone’s got their eyes open at least a little, though some more than others.
tfw everyone else is asleep but you’re still up
The kittens are at the rolling and toddling about stage!
Today I’m once again trying to convince mamacat Mary Shelley to let me move the kittens into the playpen before they get big enough to climb out of their nesting box. I’ve checked the security camera a few times and she seems to be allowing it this time. 🤞
Good morning from the playpen! 🎉
tfw you discover you have feet
Three weeks and change! I hung out in the kitten room while recording a podcast and the kittens came out of the playpen and explored a bit, then they went right back in to take a nap. 💙
They are trying their best
The cuddle pile has become a fight club. Heart of a tiger, body of a potato.
I’m calling these two H.G. Wells and Jules Verne and one of my friends suggested Wells should be Ernest Hemingway instead so they could be Ernest and Verne.
Getting settled in for post-milkies naptime.
Just tiny cats
Look who’s ONE MONTH OLD today!
A few more from this morning, of my coffee time pals Oscar Wilde and Bram Stoker.
belly spots
I don’t know what he’s doing and honestly I don’t think he does either.
I’d like to report a murder.
These two are EATING FOOD and also PLAYING WITH TOYS so they are officially Big Guys.
How am I supposed to live a normal life with this in my house?
Food nose.
Happy Mother’s Day to my foster mamacat Mary Shelley, who has been an amazing mother to what will be her last litter. 💙
Look what she has to deal with
Bram Stoker is being extra photogenic today.
I know it’s late and a lot of people might not see this in time since it ends at midnight Eastern US time tonight, but the rescue I foster for is taking part in a big local fundraising program today and could use some help meeting some of the challenge goals! Even if we can’t hit the goals, every dollar goes toward food and care and vet bills for the cats in our care.
