5. Farah Black (Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency)

The first four I like because they're generally unfazed by however weird reality gets around them. Farah does get a bit thrown off-center, but she still rolls with it and generally kicks butt while doing so.

@SKleefeld Thank you for reminding me that I am way overdue to re-read Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. I swear it was even better than the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy for me.

@nazokiyoubinbou I tend to still favor HHGTTG since I read it first, but there was some genius stuff in Dirk Gently. To this day, I still use Dirk's advice when I get lost, and just pick a car to start following. I might not get where I was intending to go, but I wind up where I needed to be. 😆
