It seems that my current anonymizing VPN provider's IP space is being blocked by more and more websites and online services. I don't like how I'm being penalized for wanting this layer of privacy, because others have abused the IPs on networks I'm currently on.

Anybody using Mozilla's VPN service? If so, are you experiencing the same type of issue? I'm considering switching to them in the case their IP space is a bit more "untainted" than my current provider's.

@jordan which VPN are you using now? Mozilla VPN is Mullvad under the hood. Mullvad is excellent, though unfortunately it’s been sort of a victim of its own succes lately, a lot of services block it.
@ee I'm using PIA. I guess the trick with anonymizing VPNs is to choose the ones that aren't very popular yet!
@jordan hmm… you can try Windscribe for free with a limited bandwidth. For most other services, you’d need to pay for one month and you could ask for a refund if it’s no better than PIA.
@jordan other lesser-known options that I’d trust are AzireVPN, OVPN.

@ee @jordan

Can vouch for Azire. Been using them for 2 years and everything just works.
However, the issue is hitting them as well.

The captchas are many even on Azire.

@Theo_10 @jordan I tried AirVPN yesterday and I haven’t been getting any CAPTCHAs, I’m pleasantly surprised. Works even for YouTube and Reddit, without being logged in.
@jordan use mullvad and pay for it with monero dude

@jordan Mullvad, been with them years.

I'm surprised your having that issue with PIA.

Nord actually uses google and AWS calls in the ap. Googlefonts, some kind of survey or forms on AWS. Hard no for those fuckwits.

@jordan If you have a location you would like me to check I'd be happy to do so.
