#writephant Q3 Do any of your characters write journals, letters, or notes by hand?
@neve *thinking* probably? For one WIP, at least, pen and paper was the most viable means of writing as the typewriter wasn't invented for decades. #Writephant

Do any of my characters write journals, letters, or notes by hand?

Yes. I've written a couple of epistolary stories--only one published so far. The published one, "O-Rings", is a alt history combination of hand-written letters, notes, newspaper articles, press releases, video transcripts.

One of the other stories I'm working on is similar, with a lot of different pieces, but totally fantasy.

@neve #writephant 3. Do any of your characters write journals, letters, or notes by hand?

the story takes place a little less than four hundred years ago, so typewriters and word processors hadn't been invented yet. letters and notebooks figure in a few places. in particular, Lucifer's incriminating journals were written in multiple languages, occasionally backwards, with the aid of a mirror. (she'd known the journals would be used against her, and did so out of spite.)
