(In the latter case the most a plunderer can hope for is colour changes in the soil and _maybe_ a millimeter long clasp to a tiny brooch or one dirham. Coin hoards are extremely rare. That doesn't keep people from trying, though. It's just months since a series of rogue digs were found around a major site here.)
