📧 Today's fun fact that will be used by no one!

If, in your #gmail or #outlook inbox, you see someone that has a profile picture (usually Google or a brand) and they are not in your contacts, that means they set up BIMI! It's basically a system that puts brand logos in inboxes.

So, being the nerd that I am, I thought to myself "Why not do it myself to look COOL", but it turns out that major email clients only use images in certificate files that cost more than 1000$ per year to get!! I had no idea some features of #email could cost money, let alone this much!

So the next time you see this, know the company/person is spending this much for a few differently colored pixels in your inbox lol
