Rep. Ro Khanna nails why we're all so frustrated and angry.

@georgetakei my frustration has nothing to do with netanyahu.

as a Jewish American I'm pretty much never going to be okay with someone saying that the real problem is with the Jews secretly pulling the strings. I am vehemently against the current Israeli government - but I think this is the wrong take, and approaches ACTUAL antisemitism*.

*as opposed to the BS whining that any criticism of the netanyahu government must be anti-semitic.

@Amoshias @georgetakei you mentioned “the Jews”. You used the word “secretly”.

It’s clear Trump is being influenced by Netanyahu just as it’s clear he is being influenced by Putin.

If we can’t admit that Trump is being influenced by foreign actors without immediately trying to call out imaginary antisemitism then what is even the point.

@schwa @Amoshias @georgetakei

There doesn't seem to be any disagreement about Trump being influenced by Netanhayhu.

I think it's quite reasonable to be incensed by the assertion that the entire foreign policy of Trump is written by Netanyahu.

Trump and his christian white nationalist advisors generate horrid policy independently. He's also heavily influenced by other dictators, especially Netanyahu.

By all reports, that seems to be because his aides are helping Netanyahu influence him.

@psa @schwa "all Trump did is listen to netanyahu."

I think what you're saying is very reasonable and reflects the facts. but that's not what appears in the original statement.
