@georgetakei my frustration has nothing to do with netanyahu.
as a Jewish American I'm pretty much never going to be okay with someone saying that the real problem is with the Jews secretly pulling the strings. I am vehemently against the current Israeli government - but I think this is the wrong take, and approaches ACTUAL antisemitism*.
*as opposed to the BS whining that any criticism of the netanyahu government must be anti-semitic.
@Amoshias @georgetakei you mentioned โthe Jewsโ. You used the word โsecretlyโ.
Itโs clear Trump is being influenced by Netanyahu just as itโs clear he is being influenced by Putin.
If we canโt admit that Trump is being influenced by foreign actors without immediately trying to call out imaginary antisemitism then what is even the point.
There doesn't seem to be any disagreement about Trump being influenced by Netanhayhu.
I think it's quite reasonable to be incensed by the assertion that the entire foreign policy of Trump is written by Netanyahu.
Trump and his christian white nationalist advisors generate horrid policy independently. He's also heavily influenced by other dictators, especially Netanyahu.
By all reports, that seems to be because his aides are helping Netanyahu influence him.
As long as the president is not DJT or a Republican and they have the approval of Congress, then they should โcall the shots.โ
Otherwise, No.
