How is it possible that it’s been five years since she was appointed?
Her appointment with all its firsts was a good and important step for Canada.
I hope we can continue to create space for indigenous voices to speak front and centre.
I am concerned that with the boxes she filled ‘checked and done’ that it will be far too long before the someone comparable is selected.
