Circa 1970, the US Air Force used to have a B-52 run between Alaska and Montana. They flew about a half mile from our farm in SE Alberta. Maybe 6 flights a day. For about two years.
For neighbors directly under this flight, these planes were disrupting.
I imagine it depends on their altitude - six times a day is a lot. The B‑52s I’ve seen flying over were pretty low—and definitely loud.
