ok new touchscreen samples for MNT Vector (7inch tablet) are in, and they're great. now how to build and run Gnome Mobile on Debian...
@mntmn This is awesome!!!

@mntmn Oooh. When will we be able to buy that?

I love the MNT stuff but I am not in the market for a new laptop right now, but I'd love to be able to snag a 7" tablet. I still miss the 7" Nexus tablet...

@jzb @mntmn Similar stance here! βœ‹
@mntmn Oh, that looks *so* much more responsive compared to the PinePhone Pro.
@mntmn Can't wait, was just wondering what the latest was on this over the weekend. 😁
@mntmn
LET'S FREAKING GO!
@mntmn
(could do without the GNOME part but we all have our preferences/vices)
@mntmn Geniunely hyped for this! πŸ€“

eINK? Or LCD? Or LED?

Just curious (and always looking for good eINK devices to make into book readers. An MNT based device with eINK, running debian, could use calibre as its ebook reader)

@mntmn the nexus7 form factor is baaaack!!

it's also basically the form factor where you can't just get an existing device and recycle it with real linux because uhh android vendor didn't make any that i know of in the last few years it seems lol

@mntmn I love it (ofc). Would be awesome if it would be possible to back it without the...sbc-card (cannot remember the proper term) if I wanna move around and upgrade my MNT Reform Next.
@mntmn Can't wait to see more of these in the future!
@mntmn You might want to get in touch with the Debian #Mobian team for this. They are running Debian with gnome as the foundation on devices like the PinePhone, PineTab and Librem 5. I'm sure they'd be excited to help with adding the MNT Vector to the list. They are in #mobian-dev on OFTC which is bridged to #mobian-dev:matrix.org
