@nando161 It's a dystopian hellscape, but they gave us legal weed, so I guess it's fine.
@StarkRG @nando161 ... there HAS to be a stoner movie about this already...

@bakuninboys @nando161 Pineapple Express?

Honestly, I think there's room for a wider range of stoner genres than just stoner comedies. I kinda consider Pineapple Express a stoner horror more than a comedy, and I did not like it. I'd like to see a stoner romance, or maybe a stoner romcom.

@StarkRG @nando161 I'm here for all of it. I guess I should watch Pineapple Express...
@bakuninboys @nando161 One of my favourite of the stoner genre is This Is The End. Michael Cera plays an asshole version of himself and, at one point the real Michael Cera asked Rhianna if he could slap her ass. She said he could if she got to slap him in the face *hard,* both are in the movie.
@StarkRG @nando161 It's crazy how many stoner movies the Apatow gang has done.
@bakuninboys @nando161 Here's a good non-Apatow one that I remember really liking but it hardly gets talked about for some reason: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0780608/

@StarkRG @nando161 Female protagonist. Gotta have extra thumbs up for that. Reminds me I also have to watch Stone(d) Bros from Australia.
@bakuninboys @nando161 Ooh, that one never made it on my radar. Adding it to the list.
@StarkRG @nando161 Also, not technically a stoner film, but I've wanted to watch Pee Mak for a while. Horror comedy about a guy dating a ghost and his friends try and keep him alive.
@bakuninboys @nando161 Alright, fine, if *you're* going to go off-topic, then I'm going to suggest Scavenger's Reign. Also not about stoners, but I'd say it's stoner-friendly. Also a lot of horror elements, but it's also just a fascinating world that makes you go "coooool."
@StarkRG @nando161 I love that show. Found out about it because one of the artists is on Masto.
