@stux How about Lorene Powell-Jobs, Steve Jobs' widow? She bought The Atlantic and is 100% fighting against the fascist regime in America, and I'm pretty sure she gives a ton of money away for causes that empower women.

But in general, yes, I agree. They're all narcissistic pricks. They get so much money then seem to get scared of losing it or not being the richest person to ever exist, and tread on everyone else to stay on top. Absolute arseholes.

@darkpaw Billionaires might do some good things with a day's interest on their hoarded gold, but they still have those billions. They're still laying on their hoard and eating hobbits., but sometimes someone gets a scholarship. @stux

@xinit @stux To be fair, she 'only' has $11.9bn and has done more with that than any other billionaire I can think of. Musk does fuck all to help others with his hundreds of billions. Bezos makes penis rockets.

As I said, I agree that billionaires probably shouldn't exist, but LPJ is doing some good, and it's not just a day's interest she's giving away. Attack the fucking awful billionaires not the ones at least doing some good.

And Taylor Swift sounds like a nice person from many accounts. Paying transportation staff, crew, etc big salaries and bonuses, and donates to charities, arranges good bank donations, etc.

Still should be taxed out of being a billionaire.

This isn't picking on a single billionaire, it's time that they ALL had their hoards redistributed.

Even if they're nice.

I think we're mostly agreeing, though.
