After 12 years of absence during the Orban rule, the Hungarian parliament raised the EU flag again.

It is the latest sign that you should never surrender to populism or any other form of radicalism, even when the odds are against you.

This is a decisive European victory.

@Tendar ein wichtiges Zeichen für #Europa - Putins Plan, via #Orban die europäische freiheitliche Gesellschaft zu unterminieren, ist zunächst gescheitert. Allerdings versucht er es weiterhin - der nächste Hebel, den er zur Re-Sowjetisierung ansetzt, ist die #AfD. Wir müssen wachsam und abwehrbereit bleiben!

@Tendar Unfortunately in the US, we don’t have a flag that uniquely stands for most of the things that the EU flag now does. Our flag has been hijacked and used by MAGA and now means something totally different. A world turned upside down.
