Shadow smiled as she turned sideways in the mirror, looking herself over. Amy and Rogue had been right: this red tank top and skirt really did compliment her natural color palette.

"Hey Shadow!" she heard a familiar voice from behind, as Sonic walked into view in the mirror, "Looking good!" he gave a thumbs up.

"Thanks." Shadow said, her voice still a little deep, but much softer than before. "That girlfriend of yours has been a great help since I decided to try this."

"The clothes really help," Tails agreed as he flew in, "I remember when I first started presenting as male, I got really into shorts for a while."

"Yes, well," Shadow reached up to pat hee feshly recut quills, "The different outfit really does help with the shape of my body. You know, I realize now, I think I've always felt a little jealous of Rouge, deep down."

"Well, however you wanna handle this buddy, we're here for you."
