@zackstern They're so ridiculously overfunded at this point I'm not worried about it, given their track record. I just don't have the dosh. But what a fucking cool piece of kit.

Sort of a natural extention of the eurorack craze. Pop a full instrument into a guitar pedal box.
‘Guitar pedals’ have a higher margin than they used to, but they are still usually on the low end entry level side of the market, and sell more frequently as it might only be one weeks income. They are the MacBook Neo of the musical instrument store.
@Chancerubbage Cost of entry right now is north of $500, which is just a lot more disposable income than I have right now. So, object of lust, but no realistic chance of me getting it.
Maybe I'll be able to get one used at some point.
@flargh yes, usually that window, the new window for the fancier cram a lot of dsp into a box, is more like 300 -500. ‘Boutique’ allowed guitar pedals to creep up from 100 to 150, and so on.
