This morning while helping plant flowers with my wife at her mom’s grave, at 3 people showed up in the area to weed whack and blow singular graves with power tools. Fortunately not super close otherwise we would have had words.

In the period of 3 hours sitting in the backyard at my mom’s — two Amazon drone deliveries passed overhead and returned.

#SilentSunday is merely wishful thinking near any human civilization.

@mgraf leaf blowers? On a cemetery?! On Sunday?!? Oh, Murrica...

(haven't seen Amazon drone deliveries here thankfully... makes me wonder not if but only WHEN people with guns will begin trying to shoot them out of the sky)

@mgraf Amazon drone deliveries are a real thing now? Good thing I live in past century up in frozen Canuck land… and luckily within 20km of a tiny municipal airport, so everything around is drone no fly zone.

@mayo Unfortunately yes. A couple massive Amazon buildings nearby. Little did we know our “Jetsons moment” would start with air deliveries of anchovies to zip ties.
Hopefully your frozen spot remains isolated as long as possible!
