It costs a small fortune to summit Everest. In other words, those are rich people. Did anyone expect anything else?
For #MountainMonday: Indianhead Mountain (aka Chief Rain in the Face) with a rainbow, seen from the alluvial flat at the mouth of Hellhole Canyon in Anza Borrego Desert State Park, California.
This isn't the best angle to photograph the mountain to really see the "Indianhead" but who could resist the combination with a rainbow?! :)

This morning while helping plant flowers with my wife at her mom’s grave, at 3 people showed up in the area to weed whack and blow singular graves with power tools. Fortunately not super close otherwise we would have had words.
In the period of 3 hours sitting in the backyard at my mom’s — two Amazon drone deliveries passed overhead and returned.

Infinite Loop
Over the 12 years that we've been taking holidays in Iceland, I must have snapped thousands of aurora photos. This one is still among my favourites.
November. The 94% illuminated moon was high in the south-east, and lit the mountains on the opposite side of Berufjörður. The night was clear and still.
This curl of green aurora looping over the peaks and reflecting in the fjord gave me this great shot.
