Getting a #COVID booster today at #CVS. When I made the appointment their website claimed they had the Novavax vaccine at this location, but of course when I got here and checked in they said "We don't have that anymore." 😡 mRNA it is then, I suppose. *sigh*

@eigen There is quite a bit of evidence that Novavax may provide stronger / broader / longer lasting immunity. At the very least, it's beneficial to alternate boosters between the two vaccine platforms, and my last booster before today was mRNA.

A lot of people also experience less or no side effects from Novavax, sometimes even improvement of Long Covid symptoms. It's a shame they've made it so hard to get.
