@inanedirk nice list - and I guess riverside is really ending now so good call. But sad.

Naturally I started thinking of Opeths song #endingcredits from the damnation album.

Perhaps Amorphis "Brother and Sister" - a bonus track from the Queen of Time album - is in the same hood.

It is hard to imagine Riverside without him. Happy to have seen them live a few times!

@froderik Huh, I wasn't aware of that. Sounds like he really didn't get along with someone anymore.
I guess it doesn't make me unhappy though. I cried when I heard Piotr died, but when it comes to their music, the original three albums remain my favourites. So, it's fine. Bands evolve, people change. It happens. 🤷‍♂️

@inanedirk true that - better to move on. I think I got hooked with Second Life Syndrome. Apparently I saw them live for the first time 15 (!) years ago in Stockholm.

@froderik first time I saw them was 2009, so around the same time. The Curtain Falls is actually the first song of theirs I heard. A friend of mine told me to check it out, he was convinced it would hook me immediately, and it did.
