Okay, so I've been talking about the ways that Big AI directly harms kids. But what can we *do* about it? Here are some things you can do, at work and and your kid's school, to take action today, complete with scripts to follow: https://www.anildash.com/2026/02/23/taking-action-ai-harms/
Well Intentioned
but entirely wrongheaded approach.
Apocryphal stories with single data points.
Lack of serious research or non-credible research.
Conflating socials with Ai
Ideology driven
This is equivalent to banning internet rather than teching about cyberbullying / use of the tool.
Jobs will be hard to find already, disabling kids chances because you're not preparing them for the Ai office is harmful.
#education needs to prepare the young people for the future, not for what a #Luddite ideology dictates.
