Cooking the books

🤩 I'm going to see SF Grandmaster Connie Willis speak at my local library tonight! She's one of my favorite SF authors. I love her empathy and gentle humor which are evident in her human-centric stories. My only problem...which of her books do I take to have her sign? 🤔 To Say Nothing of the Dog? The Road to Roswell? Or her story collection The Best of Connie Willis?

@Nichelle my vote goes to To Say Nothing of the Dog, one of the very few time travel books I don’t hate. (I adore it.)
Unless you have a copy of Bellwether, in which case that gets my vote.

@kmherkes As it happens, I DO have a copy of Bellwether, but it is a tattered mass-market paperback, as are many of my Willis books. The ones I listed are hardcover or trade, a better surface for a signature. Thanks for your vote!

@kmherkes And here is the grandmaster herself, still writing. Her talk was great, she's engaging and sharp and funny. Working on a new Oxford Time Travel book, yay! Still going at 80 years old. And she signed my books. 🤩
