Great. He's the one that Democrats chose. Not Jasmine Crockett. James Tallarico. A Trump super pac funded his campaign.
Just wait until they have their strokes and get hospitalized for depression...
The whole stroke thing is BS thrown out there by people who are embarrassed they fell for his con.
@HakeemG @joeinwynnewood I don't know fuck all about Fetterman but the PA types on the internet that worked for his campaign said he's very different now. I don't live in PA I've never run into the guy so I'll trust their judgement.
All I'm saying is a Texas D is better than a Texas R and if he can win that's great
If you go back and look at his history as mayor he was accused of some very serious problematic behavior including holding an innocent black man at gunpoint. All of this is on his Wikipedia page.
No surprise that the Bernie bros glanced over that one, Bernie has made a career out of prioritizing the white working class over the minority base of the Democratic party, something that has cost him in Democratic primaries.
I can't speak for any Bernie Bros, not being one, but I can speak for rank and file Democrats in Pennsylvania where that accusation was surfaced and dealt with at length by the press, by Fetterman, and in 1000s of conversations among primary voters.
For my part I voted for Malcolm Kenyatta in the primary, many people voted for Connor Lamb, and a majority for Fetterman, who, BTW, served as Lt. Governor after being mayor of Bradford.
No worries, I'll speak for them. 😂😂😂
Your statement is BS.
The stroke has clearly had significant impacts on Fetterman to the point that his chief of staff resigned over it. Several more top staffers have left more recently over policy disagreements.
Were they somehow all unaware of Fetterman's positions and intentions before his stroke and battle with depression?

The signs were always there. The black jogger incident, the dereliction of duties, etc... The absurd allegations that Hillary wasn't paying attention to white men, etc...
By reading, not mind-reading.

@joeinwynnewood @HakeemG @VW_Guy The truth is, you folks just assumed he was a progressive rebel who'd buck the system in ways you liked because he was Working Class Slob-coded even though he actually came from money and privilege.
And now you've done the same thing with Platner, despite the warning signs and despite having a more qualified and trustworthy candidate you could've gotten behind but ewww they're Icky Establishment Square-coded.
You're all vibes and no substance.
Again, I voted for Malcolm Kenyatta in the primary so "you folks", by which I gather your mean White people, isn't me, though I am most certainly a White person.
And I certainly voted for Fetterman in the general election over Dr. Crudite and would 100 out of 100 times.
Fetterman ran a better race than his 2 primary opponents and won a very swingy state AFTER suffering a debilitating stroke.
You pretend political skill doesn't matter.
@joeinwynnewood @TagYourToe @VW_Guy
I love the way these people are always on social media screaming about some bullshit and then finish it off with, but I voted for this person. So you did know Fetterman was full of it, but just wanted to argue the point.
These are the same people who will yell at the top of their lungs about how the DNC sucks or Biden didn't do anything, and when you call their bullshit out, you get but I voted for Kamala.
Really doing your best to earn a block.
Oh for Pete's sake. No one "knew" Fetterman was full of it. Many of us believed other candidates were better and voted accordingly.
Fetterman had an unusual background. He chose to spend years of his life not working on his bank account, but in the trenches of a down and out town. He got tattoos commemorating people lost to violence.
Who does that to be "full of shit"?
Good luck finding disparaging posts about Biden/DNC from me.
You're way off base.
@joeinwynnewood @HakeemG @VW_Guy "And I certainly voted for Fetterman in the general election"
I wasn't referring to the general, Professor.
So Fetterman didn't run a better race than his primary opponents nor win in the fall AFTER suffering a stroke?
@joeinwynnewood He appealed to dumbasses who wanted to Shake Shit Up and didn't actually care about history or character or policy coherence, guy. Just like Trump did.
His campaign was nothing special for anyone who had half a brain. Of course, anyone with half a brain would've found the story of him trying to vigilante-merc a random Black jogger disqualifying anyway.

Over the topic of who the government serves, certainly, but I want to stress that our taxpayers don't pay for a thing. Functionally they're like a blood sacrifice. The money sent to the federal treasury deletes money from the money supply, and federal spending adds money to the economy. Changing how we think about federal budgets and federal taxation is the essence of asserting our sovereignty over a government that has been seized by the super rich.
Perverted is what you call a society like this…
Yep, he's saying all the right things at the right time, but one shouldn't lose sight of the fact that he's yet another one saying it all from behind a pulpit!
US - taking more strides toward the joining of one person's religion and state.
there's nothing wrong with being religious
there's nothing wrong with being an atheist either for that matter
there is very much something wrong with using either status as some sort of magical litmus test on their character
don't do that
because, yes, there's plenty of religious assholes. but there's also plenty of good tolerant religious people
(and there's plenty of atheist assholes and plenty of good tolerant atheists)
people didn't vote for harris because "she had a funny laugh" 🤦♂️
so i'd say ignore your "gut feeling"
talarico is a real one
@georgetakei And seniors on Social Security. And single mothers taking orders at McD's. And wheelchair assistants at airports. And substitute teachers on less than minimum wage. And, and, and.
Could we drop this asinine old vs young framing? (Talking to Talarico, here.) It's just playing into their divide-and-conquer hands.
