Been back and forth to SW FL, Nov-April, and things (weather/nature wise) seemed weird, birds not populating rookeries as usual (S. Venice almost a ghost town aside from some regular egrets, and tons of grackles), & same in some big preserves, in April "too wet" for many wading birds, and now "we need rain"...
So I focused (literally/figuratively) on trying to find the tiny chirpers all around me, but rarely visible. All good. Except love bugs.
