Kat the LeopardessWhile my friend is here to do laundry, here is the design I am contemplating for my home in FurryCraft. I want to have the frontage of my hillside home using birch planks.
The thing I am trying to decide is which log type I should use for the contrast. I like the deep purple of the cherry log, but if I did use that for the outside. I want to use the dark purple that the logs give out. I also like how mangrove logs and planks look in MC, overall. So I deliberately built the second half of the house with mangrove logs to see if the striped brown texture works out.
For context, the inside of the house is stone and dirt right now. Flooring hasnt been put in. If I choose mangrove logs for the outside, Id likely use mangrove slabs and planks for flooring and walls. If I chose the cherry log for the outside, I will NOT be using the cherry planks and slabs as that is too pink for me.
So, which log do you think offers good contrast and accenting -- the cherry log or the reddish-brown mangrove logs?
