I created a #slashpage for my #slashpages last night, as one does: https://chriskirknielsen.com/slashes/

And because languages are a big part of my nerdy side, I created a new `/languages` page as well. I don't know what the requirements are to get that added to slashpages.net (hello @robb) but it would be very cool to read about other folks' linguistic lore!

@chriskirknielsen Making a note of it now and get it up when I get a chance
@chriskirknielsen love your languages page!! totally feel the enthusiasm for writing systems and accents πŸ’ͺπŸ’–
@chriskirknielsen So cool! Nice that you know so many languages, and the Futhark alphabet enough to be able to read Norse runes! 🀩 αšΌα›’
@hejchristian If you ever want to learn, I taught myself mostly through this "exercise" page I made: https://codepen.io/chriskirknielsen/pen/OJwvQRe/ (looks like the alternative runes are broken though, boo)
Runestone Futhark β€” An Interactive Learning microapp

I played God of War, so of course I want to learn these. _Known issue: accessibility a little lacking, this is definitely just a fun little thing that...

@chriskirknielsen Oh nice, will for sure check that out, thanks! ☺️ What a fun lil project, nice design too!

My only exposure to Elder Futhark has been this little paper cut project with some of the runes,

and also when on a Nordic roadtrip we were _this_ close to seeing a real historical site/runestone, but turned around defeated after the long walk there because of a closed gate. We later learned from our Airbnb host that we could have just opened the gate... it was only to keep the cows in 🀣

@hejchristian Oh hell yeah, physical objects are way more fun! That looks really cool. πŸ˜„
And oh nooo! That sucks, but now you have an excuse to go back. πŸ˜‰
