Migrated all my projects from GitHub to a PikaPods hosted Forgejo 🥳 such a pleasant experience it was!
Now I just want to find an alternative to GitHub Desktop. Sublime Merge looking nice, Fork too 👀
First PikaPods app setup, super happy with the service so far 🤩
Edit: Oh yeah, this was for Forgejo btw. Something super comfy about having my own git space and getting away from GitHub a bit.
I had kept Chrome around because I wanted one more browser to test in, and the translate tools had been more reliable for me on stuff like Portuguese government sites.
But it looks like that can just go and get in the bin then 🤷 I think I'll give Helium a try: https://helium.computer/
Somehow, always, I end up with site navigation being one of the last things I'll implement properly 😅
I've had a nice display: flex that works since day one, and I suppose I _could_ leave that for mobile too as it wraps nice.
Might not even add a hamburger at all 👀

There was a Cattle Egret earlier but as soon as I got close it flew off, and I had no chance doing this handheld.

It's fixed focal length, manual focus, it's heavy, and it's awkward to turn the focus ring.
I've not been having a great time with it and as my first telephoto lens to try and get into bird photography, it's been a disappointing time.
Going to try and persevere though! 💪
Until I'm comfortable enough to take this out and about, House sparrows will probably be the main subject for now 😅 We have plenty of them around here.
Day 1 of practicing with a lens I currently dislike to see if I can learn to tolerate it, and also practice some bird photography while I'm at it.
