Agi: Rocca: "Per il sisma di Amatrice, risorse enormi, nessuno resti indietro"

AGI - Sono enormi le risorse stanziate, ma la cosa che mi fa piacere sottolineare è la capacità di ascolto e il lavoro fatto insieme ai comuni e ai sindaci". Lo ha detto il presidente della Regione Lazio, Francesco Rocca, a margine della presentazione del Piano Strategico di Sviluppo del cratere del sisma 2016.
"C'era la necessità di sentire bene cosa volevano i territori e di non calare le scelte dall'alto - ha aggiunto Rocca - stiamo già lavorando per i prossimi finanziamenti europei affinché vi sia una leva importante anche per il futuro. L'orizzonte temporale ci consente di investire e far crescere quest'area".
"Inutile fare un intervento sulle case in una zona spopolata: la ricostruzione deve andare di pari passo con lo sviluppo socioeconomico. Ci sono stati errori tecnici all'inizio che si sono scontati sulla ricostruzione privata; con il Commissario e l'assessore Rinaldi stiamo recuperando il tempo perduto. Il mio obiettivo è una ricostruzione omogenea: nessuno deve rimanere indietro, quello è un territorio ferito che seguo dalle primissime ore", ha concluso il presidente.

“There was a need to truly understand what the territories wanted and not to impose choices from above – Rocca added – we are already working on the next European funding opportunities so that there is a significant lever for the future as well. The timeframe allows us to invest and grow this area.”

“It’s pointless to intervene on houses in a depopulated area: reconstruction must go hand in hand with socio-economic development. There were technical errors at the beginning that were discounted on private reconstruction; with Commissioner Rinaldi and Councilor Rinaldi we are recovering lost time. My objective is a homogeneous reconstruction: no one must be left behind, that’s a wounded territory that I’ve been following since the very first hours,” he concluded.
