Hardware store thoughts: omg, a quick action razor blade with a screwdriver that is tempting to buy and have as an everyday carry since I haven’t had anything since leaving the service forever ago and dropping the Gerber and its mesh belt case. Do better Craftsman; if your slogan is “We build Pride” you should have a fucking rainbow. Gosh, less than half of my purchase is what I came in for, when did they move the impulse buy items to the electrical aisle.
@c0dec0dec0de a planejacker and phillips screwdriver in one, because you never know.
@kolya I mean if you looked at the frequency of tool use on a multitool, I imagine knife is first and then second place is either pliers or screwdriver. The pliers dominate the form of the typical multitool, so any solution still incorporating them won’t be able to distinguish itself in the market, but this is different. Also, replaceable blades for those of us who can’t be arsed to sharpen knives.
@c0dec0dec0de are these standard replacables though? the ones where you can break off the tip a few times? the space avbailable for the blade looks a bit short
@kolya they’re the other standard: trapezoid with a single long razor edge.

@c0dec0dec0de They are taunting the Gods of Typography on the packaging for the “FlickBlade” knife/driver. Close-set uppercase “L” and “I” look like a “U”.

Reminds me of when I used to leave handwritten block letter notes for my friend “Clint”…

@haggersnash oh, that is a particularly bad misreading
