Fascinating patterns on the water in the Strait of Hormuz (Apr 22, 2026). On the upper right it looks to me like there's a contrail from fast moving aircraft near the surface of the water (maybe). Large ship going left to right. What the heck is going on with the water's surface, is what i want to know... green stuff -- algae? white stuff-? Not what you normally see in Southern California. It seems to be on the surface as the ship is disturbing the pattern... "sea snot" algae?

Epaminondas - Wikipedia

BBC: "Iranian media are reporting that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targeted the three ships hit in the Strait of Hormuz.

IRGC-affiliated Fars news agency says a ship called Euphoria was targeted and is now grounded off the coast of Iran.

Iranian media say the MSC Francesca and Epaminondas were "seized" and directed towards the Iranian coast, citing a statement from the IRGC Navy. "
