The mythology ableism creates is that disabled people are lazy, or cheaters, or not able to keep up. They're projecting.

Abled people constantly put off accessibility. Disabled people have been around FOREVER. And ADA is 36 years old this July. The UC Access Now Demandifesto was released in 2020.

But our public university still isn't ready because it doesn't want to be accessible to all of the public funding it.

It's one reason their whole stance is about "compliance"...being forced to. Not joyfully building an accessible education system.
