Bud TalbotOk fellow #coffee geeks and friends- after 10+ years I think we need a new electric burr grinder. Our trusty Cuisinart seems to have given it up.
What are your suggestions? Must have ceramic burrs, disassemble for cleaning, grind espresso to coarse.
pez23@bud_t I picked up a used Baratza Encore that had just been refurbished for $100. I make pour over, French press, and moka pot; this grinder expertly handles them all. In addition to being an excellent grinder, I like Baratza's commitment to not trashing the environment by providing replacement parts as well as diy upgrades. They're sometimes hard to come by but will worth the price.
