Njion the Cofftea Dragon ☕Why do people in the US still take Benadryl as an allergy med?? Like y'all know we've had antihistamines that don't give you severe drowsiness since 1973? Straight up, here in Poland the active substance in Benadryl is sold as a sleep aid, not as an allergy medication.
I mean it's pretty good at making you fall asleep, to be fair. It also comes with a heightened risk of developing dementia when used long term. So how about we quit using it for managing allergies?? It's genuinely terrible??

@njion hm I'm confused, according to Wikipedia it is an antihistamine and also antihistamines also often make sleepy and drowsy?
