one of our two public (!) broadcasters in Germany obliged their journalists NOT to contact, report about, interview anyone/anything which is on the actual US sanction lists...
actually a modest action calling people to write to some ministers, the journalist union and amnesty (!) asking them why they do not object to the EU sanction list
my mails to them were not impolite but sarcastic - cops arriving at yr door in the morning for such a thing getting more and more common here...
