#MissKittyArt babble I do all kinds of art, but my goal is being in #fine #art #galleries all over the world. Maybe starting with #Times #Square! I consider it to be an art gallery not representing itself very well yet!! LOL. Too much commercial grade junk!! The tools are really developing.
#InfinitePainter is professional grade. It's my number one tool. It turns out that most common digital art tools are really just for commercial products like posters. Here are a few links to my explorations this morning to expand. I also have #Krita. But some tools have tricks that are good...
... enough to keep them around just for their trick. LOL. E.g. #PSEX has awesome #filters and a good #shaper. It does a very extreme version of #twisting which gives a particular look that I haven't found elsewhere. It makes really hard edges. And the shaper is nicely responsive.

I use #krita and have seen some great work done with it. I'm very against closed software, so I've limited my search to linux only.

I'm not sure how your two accounts are related.

I thought of you when I ran across these two posts. They are very dense reading. But I know you are a long-form writer.

I thought of you specifically because I noticed your attention to detail and careful wording in your short posts on mastodon.

I'm still digesting this text myself. I'm not sure how I feel about it.

@poleguy @misskitty.art thank you for those and I will check them out. I hope you have a nice day.
@poleguy @misskitty.art I started the second one and it's really dense and it has a point but I don't know that I need to read all of the analysis to get what I'm going to get. I'll try and give it some more time later. I see the gist. I even put myself up against it. I've been guilty of it but I am also not guilty because my ambitions are for everybody. So my ego exists and it does get it's lessons let me tell you. God has provided the lesson more than once to this one. 1/2
@poleguy @misskitty.art
The sardonic voice of God telling me a while back, "I could always say that you ended homelessness." It's a lesson that continues to unfold. It will only be God's Grace on my efforts that bring such a result no matter what I give to it. I'm attempting to move a mass of humanity in a significant way. It's not a trivial task. I think I do make an impact if not get it done. It's worth the effort and I do have to keep an eye on the ego. I do it for myself.

@_MissKitty @misskitty.art I also had to stop in the middle of the second one. I agree, it is very dense, and "a bit much" relative to the point it is making.

I found it an interesting way of describing the behavior/phenomenon.

I also feel guilty in two cases myself: both in writing and in reading.

I usually describe this behavior from the point of view of "being in a bubble" or talking "into your own echo chamber."

The angle of "bayesian interpretation" is a new light for me.

@_MissKitty @misskitty.art

There are many purposes to writing. I think that the main thing I see in this particular set of pieces that struck me and I felt worth sharing was the idea that people intentionally write in a style intended to be read only in a superficial bayesian interpretation style.

It makes me think of the way trump speaks. It is often all nouns and energy and a series of + and - points to light up taps in a bayesian filter in his target audience.

@poleguy @misskitty.art you got me thinking. I was doing other things today because Bluesky was just hammered. I think they got the first wave of agentic AI bot swarms. And Russia blocked them. That had to mess up part of their network. So I went walking. Here's one of the pictures! Have a great night and I will be digging into this more. You made it more interesting again.
