"#Labour have lost half of their voters since the 2024 general election, and the #Tories and #LibDems have lost over a third each."

"Starmer clearly bears responsibility for this, because heโ€™s the man at the top. At the same time, Starmer didnโ€™t introduce dishwater #neoliberalism to the Labour Party; he simply ran with it."

"We now have five parties within 10 percentage points of one another:"

Starmer has lost half of Labour's 2024 voters

In the New Labour years it took 3 elections and an illegal war for Labour to squander its lead-even then they lost fewer voters than Starmer

(I can never decide how to tag Green Party stuff. #GreenParty seems clearest but only has 52 recent uses. And feels a bit internally-redundant when no other party's tag needs 'party' in it. #Green has 109 uses lately according to my server, but they might all not be about politics. #Greens is nice and short, but only has 16 recent uses. Anybody got thoughts?) ๐Ÿ™‚

@PoliceStateUK I have been using #GreenParty as they seem to use that tag on their website

Green Party

@PoliceStateUK surely all these need a UK specifier - not sure if there are other Tories or libDems but there are definitely other green parties and other Labour movements

#GreenPartyUK makes most sense to me

@sean @PoliceStateUK The trouble with #GreenPartyUK is that there isn't one: we have 3 administratively separate green parties in the UK: #GreenPartyEnglandAndWales, #ScottishGreens, and #GreenPartyNI.

Though that still doesn't help, because while I think #ScottishGreens is hashtag with at least some use, I kind of made the other 2 up and I don't think either is particularly common.

@PoliceStateUK #Green says 243 uses lately, although I am not sure what lately means in this instance.
@IndyRichard Yeah, I think it varies wildly by server.
@PoliceStateUK the Welsh parliament predictions are even funnier. South Wales was built on immigration and socialism and has had enough.
@etchedpixels Yeah, Plaid Cymru there, and the SNP in Scotland, have always offered a centre left alternative to people.
