Why is Australia falling over itself to depend on funding from a source that kills people? Fossil fuels kill 1 in 5 people from emissions alone. What kind of future are you leaving your children with, when every hottest summer is our coldest yet? Have the bean counters told you how to survive on a dead planet?

@gusseting Funny how the best way to 'save the planet' and protect our kids is apparently letting Santos & co. keep pocketing $47 billion in revenue with basically zero company tax for a decade.
Ken Henry says hit the war-driven windfall profits with ~100% tax instead. That money could actually fund the transition, hospitals, or schools — rather than just foreign dividends while Aussies pay sky-high bills.
Or we could keep the current 'give it away tax-free' model and feel virtuous about the hottest summers. Your call. #prrt #gas #auspol #gastax

No, it's not funny. Fossil fuels are killing us. Name a fossil fuel company that has been taxed into oblivion.
Bayer have shown that the way to go is lawsuits, which is why they're winding up Roundup, and it's being banned in other countries. So, lets sue fossil fuel companies for murder of people + planet.
