Do anyone here use Tuba (a Mastodon gtk client) and experience it crashing sometimes?

#tuba #gnome #gtk #foss #tech

@serigala_tropis I use the flatpak version it, but my problem is not about crashing. Sometimes when I create a new account on tuba and then close the tuba, this account not showing again when I open tuba again.

The same happens sometime when I delete an account.  Close, open, and then that should be deleted account shown again

@sakeudeung I had that issue on Linux Mint 22.3, apparently it was a dbus and keyring issue. If I close Tuba, and I open Tuba again, it did not save anything when I close it.
@serigala_tropis yeah, but I still use #tuba on my desktop because of that problem only occasionally. And I feel (my opinion) tuba is the "best" #mastodon client on Linux desktop till now. They are especially supporting markdown formatting so I can post markdown formatted on #gotosocial.
@sakeudeung I use Tuba, considering desktops I have used: Gnome, Cinnamon, and Pantheon are all compatible with GTK apps. If I try to use a Qt app for Mastodon client, I run into issues.
@serigala_tropis yes indeed, and tuba has official flatpak release.
@serigala_tropis yeh i used it for a while. i really liked it but it was quite sluggish/slow and crashed every now and again. that was quite some time ago when i tried it.... haven't tried it since!
@serigala_tropis
I'm using the Tuba Flatpak on Fedora 43 with GNOME 49 and for me there was no crash so far.
