Cataract surgery 7½ weeks ago. First 5-6 weeks was like seeing the world thru overdone HDR colors; I literally forgot what true colors looked like.
My wife recently told me she doesn't understand why people consciously convert photos to black and white because they don't look real. I almost always prefer black and white images and never thought about it that way. But after thinking about what she said, I (kind of) see her point.
